I started modeling around the age of 13. I took classes at a school nearby and really grew into myself through modeling. I learned so much about beauty, fashion, and being comfortable talking in front of people. After going to Texas for an expo and not getting any callbacks, I was really discouraged. I took a break from modeling after that and concentrated on other things. About a year ago I updated my pictures and fell right back into it, it felt like I never stopped. January 2013 I walked in a runway show for charity, the Fashion Angels show. Shortly after that I posed for Inclusion Magazine; something I never dreamed I would do! After all of this, I realized that I still love being in front of the camera and it’s something that comes natural to me. I feel so beautiful and confident in myself when I’m in front of the camera; something I often have trouble feeling in my everyday life. Although modeling is something that I have a passion for, I’ve decided my focus needs to stay on getting my degree and having a career as a social worker. I’m not opposed to being in front of the camera again, of course, because after all, looking at these photos makes me believe I’m actually beautiful inside and out.
